NON-DENIM
To ensure that your Daydream fabric pants retain their elegant fit, comfort and high quality for a long time, we recommend taking particular care when looking after them.
First step:
Check the care label: Before washing your pants for the first time, take a look at the care label. There you’ll find all the important information on the recommended washing temperature and how to care for them properly. You’ll also find details on whether the colour may run initially and whether the pants contain any non-textile components of animal origin – such as a leather patch.
Washing
Gentle washing: Before washing, fasten all zips and buttons and remove any jewellery or accessories. Then turn the pants inside out – this provides the best possible protection for the colour and fabric. Wash your pants according to the instructions on the care label and use a mild detergent. Please note that for hand washing or cold washing, you can also use your washing machine’s wool cycle (cold). You should avoid using fabric softener, as this can damage the fibres. To prevent colour transfer, wash similar colours together and do not overload the washing machine. This allows the pants to move freely and ensures they are washed particularly gently.
Drying
Gentle drying: Immediately after washing, gently reshape your pants and hang them up to dry. Avoid direct sunlight to ensure the colours and fabric stay looking their best for as long as possible. Do not dry in a tumble dryer, as the high temperatures can put strain on the fibres and affect the fit and the fabric’s properties.
Ironing
Smooth them out instead of spending time ironing: Iron your pants in accordance with the care instructions on the label – usually at a low temperature. However, ironing is often not necessary at all: Straight after washing, whilst they are still slightly damp, pull the pants into shape and hang them up so they hang straight. This reduces creases naturally and ensures the trousers retain their neat appearance.
